YOUNG people in Steyning have handed over a petition calling for a skate park.

The move on Monday followed the Steyning parish poll result last Wednesday, which saw the majority support a skate park on the Memorial Playing Field.

A group of Steyning Grammar School students organised the petition and collected more than 100 signatures calling for the skate park to be built.
