The 18-month-old can sit, down, paw and roll over, and has even learned to trot through the trainers’ legs, which keep the mind busy and focused.

Tracey Rae, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Shoreham, said: “He is a really smart chap and has been working hard alongside his trainer learning new things.

“Samuel thrives on reward based training and is looking for an adult-only home with owners who are happy to continue the training that has been started here at Dogs Trust.

“He has also been working hard with his loose lead walking and is doing great at it.

“He is a smashing chap and will be a fun addition to his new home.”

Samuel can have doggy friends when out on walks but would like to be the only dog at home to ensure one-to-one attention from new owners.
