VIDEO: Dog of the week – Sylo

TIMID Shylo needs owners willing to take the time to build a bond.

Just eight months old, the female German shepherd cross needs to be introduced to the world gradually.

Dogs Trust Shoreham said: “She is a very sweet girl looking for owners that will enjoy doing fun training with her. This will help her confidence grow.

“Shylo is a timid girl who has not experienced much before coming into our care. She would really like owners who are happy to take things at her pace.”

With new dogs, Shylo can be shy if they are quite excitable, preferring the company of calm playmates.

Shylo is happy in the company of children aged 14-plus and would benefit from an enclosed garden to play in and to practise recall.

Dogs Trust added: “She is unable to live with cats but would be happy living with a doggy friend, someone that can show her the ropes.

“Shylo loves her toys and is happy to play with people or on her own. She also loves gnawing on a tasty bone, it will keep her amused for ages.

“She is a really fun girl and will blossom into a lovely young lady once settled in her home.”
