HANDSOME German shepherd cross Rafi came to Dogs Trust as a stray, so the charity has no history on the one-year-old.
What the charity does know, however, is that the male dog is a big puppy that needs help with his socialisation training.
“He can be worried around new people, so he needs to be taught fun ways of interacting with strangers to help build his confidence.
“Once he has formed a relationship he is such a fun and affectionate boy.
“He is very keen to play like a puppy with other dogs and does forget his size at times.”
Rafi needs to continue to have lots of successful off-lead meetings with other dogs while out on walks.
“Because of his age and energy levels, he needs to be taken on lots of lovely long walks,” added the charity.
Rafi loves his training sessions and is happy to jump in and out of the car, knows sit and down, will retrieve balls and has a great recall.
He is good in the car and enjoys practising walking nicely on the lead.
Rafi is looking for a home with children over 16 years old and no small furry animals, as he is keen to chase them.
