MACIE has not had a traditional start to life, so needs a quiet home with a calming ‘parent’ figure.
The four-month-old collie cross was kept isolated with the litter and not introduced to other dogs or people.
A home with a calm dog that is well socialised around other dogs and people would help Macie gain confidence.
Dogs Trust explained: “She can be worried by very playful dogs, so a calming ‘parent’ figure will give her the guidance she needs, plus giving her company.
“As she is young, she will need an owner who is at home for the majority of the time so that she can get used to being left alone gradually.”
Macie can live with children aged ten upwards who would be interested in helping with training.
“Being a collie cross, she is a bright girl, so will need to use her brain on a daily basis,” added Dogs Trust.
“We don’t know how Macie feels about cats, but would be willing to test if need be.”
