VIDEO: Dog of the week – Humphrey

STAFF at Dogs Trust Shoreham would love to find a home for Humphrey, as the five-year-old is finding kennel life quite difficult.

A male Staffordshire bull terrier, Humphrey has been at the Brighton Road centre for quite a while.

Kennel life just does not suit Humphrey

Dogs Trust said: “As much as he loves the staff and his lady friends here, kennel life just doesn’t suit him and he is desperate to find his forever home.

“He is a fun, affectionate boy who likes to lean in for cuddles – that’s as long as there’s nothing more interesting going on.

“Humphrey loves to play with toys so much, he can be a little intense, so his games need to calm and controlled.”

Humphrey is not used to being alone, so is looking for owners who do not need to leave him.

Dogs Trust said: “He could be left for short periods with a steady female dog to help him settle and get used to home life.”

Humphrey loves rides in the car, is good around livestock and has a good recall in quiet areas.
