HUMPHREY is a fun and affectionate dog who likes to lean in for cuddles when he can.
That is as long as there is nothing more interesting going on, say trainers at Dogs Trust Shoreham.
The Staffordshire bull terrier loves to play with toys, but can end up being a little intense, so games need to be calm and controlled.
The five-year old does not like to give up his toys but is more than happy to do a swap.
Dogs Trust said: “He is unhappy being left alone but can cope for short periods if he has a lady doggy for company.
“He loves to go for rides in the car, is good around livestock and has a good recall in quiet areas.”
Humphrey is looking for a home with a steady female dog to help him settle and get used to home life. He can live with younger teens but no small furry animals.
