BEAGLE pair Fern and Wilson have a close bond, so need to be rehomed together.
They were taken to the Shoreham centre by a dog warden, having been rescued along with other Beagles.
Fern is a seven-year-old female and Wilson is a six-year-old male.
Dogs Trust said: “Both are very sweet with people. Wilson is certainly more outgoing and enjoys a fuss, he can be quite chatty at times, too. Fern would prefer to be in the background until she feels more comfortable.”
Although they are both used to living with multiple Beagles, the pair are a little unsure meeting new dogs. Their socialisation with new dogs at the centre is going well but needs to be done gradually on their terms.
The charity said: “They are looking for a calm home where everyone is teenage or older. We do not know how they feel about other animals.
“As they have not lived in a normal home environment, they need owners who understand they’ll take time to settle into their new home and may need some guidance with housetraining.”
