PLAYFUL Brownie had a sad start to life, so can be a little timid.
The male collie cross came to Dogs Trust Shoreham from Ireland and now needs a home with calm and gentle adult owners.
Dogs Trust said people should not expect too much from the two-year-old straight away.
“Once Brownie knows you, he loves cuddles and is happy to be groomed, a real affectionate boy.
“Brownie is playful and likes soft toys to lay down and nibble on. He also loves his food and this is a perk for training him, as he works well for tasty treats. We even discovered agility could be his thing by using treats.”
Brownie would benefit from living with another dog and the charity will use its ‘home for the day’ scheme to ensure the pair will be happy in each other’s company.
He walks nicely on a harness but is a bit nervous of traffic, so he can be a little skittish at times. He is also scared of the car and travelling in it makes him feel sick, so a garden is essential for pottering.
