VIDEO: Dog of the week – Alfie

ONE-year-old male labrador Alfie is not typical of the breed.

Alife is looking for a home with owners who have plenty of time for him. Staff at Dogs Trust Shoreham have started a training programme but that will need to be continued when Alfie gets a home.

Alfie will need an adult home, without visiting children, and an enclosed garden to run around and play in.

Tracey Rae, Shoreham rehoming centre manager, said: “He is a dog that needs both mental and physical stimulation. He enjoys puzzle solving games and using his nose. This challenges his brain and keeps him busy.

“Alfie would benefit from living with another dog as he loves to play. His doggy friend would need to be happy to share their owners’ company, as Alfie will need a lot of input initially.”
