VIDEO: Chinese new year at Steyning Primary
CHINESE new year was celebrated at Steyning Primary School with a range of craft activities and a cooking demonstration.
Pupils in reception and key stage one took part in a variety of arts and crafts on Friday, including making Chinese lanterns, painting dragon pictures and creating hats.
The children tried dragon dancing and practised Chinese writing before gathering in the hall to learn about Chinese cookery and taste some of the food.
Chef Wu Renkai and Adelaide Tsu from Bramber Dragon Chinese restaurant, in The Street, Bramber, explained how to cook noodles and rice.
