The mum-of-three was reduced to tears in yesterday’s (Thursday May 28) performance after making a mistake.

When she admitted to the faux pas judges said they had not even noticed.

Lisa, who runs Boogie Hoops fitness classes at Upper Beeding Sports Hall, performed an intricate routine.

After the performance Amanda Holden said: “Do not ever confess to a mistake. We don’t know what you did, so don’t tell us what you did.”

Lisa first came across hula-hooping in 2011, when she took her children Shaquille, Mya and Damon to a circus skills workshop.

At the time, she could not even touch her toes but she started to teach herself at home from YouTube videos and can now spin up to 50 hoops at a time, keep two hoops spinning while doing the splits for ten minutes, and even include a bit of the Charleston dance into her hooping routine.

Last summer, Lisa was invited to join Circus World for one night only when it visited Shoreham. She was so popular, the Hampshire entertainment group ended up inviting her to perform at the rest of their shows at Adur Recreation Ground.
