UPDATE: Speeding motorcyclist crashes in Brighton

The suspect, who was being tracked via police helicopter, crashed outside Churchill Square and is currently being pursued through the town centre.

A police spokesperson said: “Police monitoring a motorcyclist speeding and riding dangerously across the county are now searching for him in Brighton.

“The suspect crashed outside Churchill Square and is believed to be on foot in the town centre, where officers are searching for him.

“Security staff at Churchill Square have been made aware and are assisting police with their enquiries.

“The incident is ongoing.”
