UPDATE: Rail services operational following fatal incident
SOUTHERN services between West Worthing and Ford are operating, following a fatal incident on the line earlier today.
Rail services had been brought to a standstill, after a man was hit by a train on the line close to Brook Lane, Rustington, at 12.50pm.
A Southern spokesman said: “We are in service recovery. It’s looking likely that trains coming from London to the south coast won’t be disrupted, nor will trains from Brighton to Portsmouth.”
Although he added that there could be some residual delays.
