UPDATE: Man hit by train pronounced dead
A MAN hit by a train near Angmering railway station has died.
British Transport Police were called to the line close to Brook Lane, Rustington, at 12.50pm.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: “The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and officers are now working to identify the man and inform his family.
“A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Sussex Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
