Unwanted cars used to find feel good factor

DEALERS and drivers are urged to help find the feel good factor from unloved cars.

Shoreham Vehicle Auctions is holding its fourth annual charity event on Monday, hoping to top last year’s £10,000 for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.

The company is calling on dealers and drivers to donate unwanted vehicles and will waive all fees to maximise profits.

Cars and vans of all ages, shapes and sizes, with or without an MOT, are welcomed.

Catherine Stone, dealer sales manager, said: “Charity events are a real highlight and bring their own buzz to the auction house. Everyone’s donations make a huge difference to a truly great cause.

“Last year, bidders were treated to a variety of metal, all for great prices. The charity auction is something we all look forward to. The money raised makes a difference to a cause we are all passionate about here at Shoreham Vehicle Auctions.

“This is the first time we’ve put a call out to the public and industry alike. We are hoping both will reply with kind donations and make this year the best yet.”
