Two taken to hospital after being injured by falling wood

The men were working on a raised platform of a skip company industrial unit, in Chartwell Road, Lancing, when the accident took place.

Firefighters from Worthing and Lancing and ambulance crews were called at 7.30am.

The men were assessed by paramedics before being brought to ground level by firefighters using a hydraulic telehandler.

Both men were taken to hospital by ambulance.
