TRAVEL NEWS: A27 set to close for road repairs

Part of the A27 is set to be closed tonight (Sunday, April 24) for essential road repairs.

Highways England has said eastbound lanes between the A24 South and the junction with the A2025 are due to close from 8pm tonight until 5am tomorrow morning (Monday, April 25) while barrier and bridge repairs take place.

The road is also set to close again on Thursday night (April 28) from 8pm for horticultural works. The road is expected to reopen at 6am the following day (Friday, April 29).
