TRAVEL NEWS: A27 blocked at Arundel after accident

There are reports of heavy congestion on the A27 Arundel bypass after an earlier accident in Maltravers Street.

All lanes are now open again but there is queuing traffic around the Ford Road Roundabout and heavy congestion along the B2132 Shellbridge Road junction and towards the Crossbush junction.

Rush-hour traffic is also building on the A27 around Chichester and towards Worthing, as well westbound in Shoreham towards the Steyning Road junction and the Grinstead Lane junction.

On the trains, Southern Rail is reporting a good service on all its lines and there appears to be no significant delays across the coastal line.
