Trapped in lift
THREE teenage girls were trapped in a lift in Roptackle on Thursday.
The group were able to raise the alarm when they got shut in the lift in a block of flats in Little High Street, Shoreham.
Shoreham firefighters came to the rescue at 6.37pm and were able to release the girls using a lift key.
They then isolated the lift and taped it off until the maintenance company could repair it.
The fire service was at the scene until just after 7pm.
