Two 19-year-old women were treated for minor injuries following a road traffic collision near Steyning last night (May 17), according to police.
Police said they were called to Bostal Road, near Steyning, shortly before 10.30pm.
A police spokesman said: “A Ford Focus car had crashed near Steyning Bowl.
“Four people were on board, including two 19-year-old women occupying rear seats who were treated at the scene for minor injuries.”
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) confirmed crews were called to the scene at 10.30pm on Wednesday.
He said: “We were called to a single vehicle road traffic collision.
“Two women were checked over at the scene and taken to Worthing Hospital with neck and back pain by road ambulance. “There were two other people in the vehicle but they did not require hospital treatment. “We sent two cars and two ambulances to the scene.
“We left the scene at 12.15am.”
