Steyning fire now out but crews remain on the scene

A fire in Steyning has been put out after six fire engines attended the scene.

Firefighters were called to Shooting Field in Steyning at 4.21pm today, after smoke was seen coming out of a building.

A spokesman for the fire service said: “Upon arrival, a fire was found in the roof.”

The fire is now out, with crews remaining at the scene for the time being.

No injuries were reported.
