Police name teenager killed in motorbike crash

POLICE have named a teenager who died after a motorbike accident on Friday (June 8).

Gary Attwater, of Gosport Court, Harbour Way, Shoreham, suffered head injuries in the incident, which happened at about 4.25am, in Brighton Road, Lancing.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “He was taken to Hurstwood Park hospital for treatment, but died soon after.

“It is not believed there were any other vehicles involved.

“Police continue to appeal for witnesses to the collision and anyone with information is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Cypress.”
