Fundraising campaign launched following Shoreham plane crash

An online campaign is asking for donations, in the wake of the crash at Shoreham Airshow.

Rachel Yardley, from Coolham, said she had been motivated to do something to help, because it was such a shocking event, and because she feels a personal connection to the site.

“My father flew at the Shoreham Airport, so it’s quite close to home,” she explained, “and just the fact that it was so devastating.

“I’m asking people to help the victims’ families with any costs that they may have to incur.”

She added that any amount would be welcome, even a pound would help towards the £5,500 target listed on the site.
