Fun day is to remember man who died on the railway

A family fun day is being staged in memory of a 20-year-old man who died on the railway crossing at Shoreham.

The event, to be held in Buckingham Park, Old Shoreham Road, Shoreham, from 11am on Saturday, will remember Tommy Ramshaw, who was struck by a train at the level crossing in Brunswick Road in February.

The fun day will feature a tug of war, a dog show, a beer tent, a bake off event, tombola, games and more.

All the money raised will go to Tommy’s Fund and The Henry Hicks Foundation.
