Eastbound A27 re-opened after collision

The A27 was blocked on the Eastbound carriageway this afternoon due to an accident near the Crossbush Junction.

Emergency services were called to a collision involving a car and a lorry at Hammerpot near Arundel today at 4.30pm.

A police spokeswoman said: “There was lots of debris on the road. The driver of the car had been injured and was taken to hospital to be checked over.

“The road was closed until 5.15pm.”
