Traffic diverted following collision in Lancing
Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between an elderly woman and a car in Lancing this morning (Monday, July 25).
Officers were called to the scene in South Street, at 7.25am this morning.
The road was closed for more than an hour, and traffic was diverted, while an ambulance crew attended to the woman, who had suffered a head injury.
The woman was taken to Worthing Hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries and the road was re-opened at 8.40am.
