A police helicopter was spotted circling over Worthing today – this is why.

Sussex Police said it was made aware of a suspected stolen vehicle travelling in the Worthing area.
The vehicle was sighted by officers near the Grove Lodge roundabout, but made off at speed, said a spokesman.
They added: “A search for the vehicle is currently underway, supported by the National Police Air Service helicopter. No further information is available at this time.”
