The batch of Chunky Chocolate Shortcakes (175g) with the best before date 3 September 2016 has been recalled by the supermarket giant after it realised that the presence of egg is not mentioned in the ingredients list.

Due to the risk to people with allergies or intolerances to egg, Tesco has removed the product from its shelves and placed recall notices in stores where the affected product was sold.
