Talk on Sussex in Great War

LIFE in Sussex during the first world war will explained to Beeding and Bramber Local History Society.

Kevin Gordon will give a talk, Sussex in the Great War, at Upper Beeding Village Hall, High Street, Upper Beeding, on Wednesday, April 2, at 7.45pm.

Society secretary Pat Nightingale said: “He will be looking at what life was like for the people at home and how they managed when all the able-bodied men had enlisted.”

Entry for non-members is £2, and refreshments will be available in the interval.
