Suspected wartime grenade discovered in Shoreham
A bomb disposal team was called to Shoreham after what was believed to be a World War Two hand grenade was discovered yesterday, police said.
The item was found in New Barn Road on Sunday (March 4), according to police.
Explosive Ordinance Disposal arrived on the scene at 8.14pm and the item was safely destroyed, police confirmed.
