Students from an Upper Beeding school recently visited Shoreham’s RNLI to learn all about rescuing people at sea.
Students from The Towers Convent School in Upper Beeding visited the RNLI last Tuesday (November 15) as part of their ‘Storms and Shipwreck’ topic.
The year 4 students learned all about the amazing work that the volunteers do and how they rescue people at sea in all weather conditions.
Headmistress at The Towers Mrs Clara Trelfa said: “The girls thoroughly enjoyed dressing up and were lucky enough to actually go on one of the rescue boats. Many thanks to the RNLI.”
