Shoreham Vehicle Auctions, in Chartwell Road, Lancing, has received multiple donations from south coast dealers for its fifth auction in aid of Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.

Vehicles, track days and gift experiences have all been donated for the auction on Monday and the aim is to raise at least £7,000.

The auctioneers put out a call for unwanted vehicles earlier this month and received a wide range of donations from Frosts Cars, Yeomans Group, Tates Motor Group, Harwoods Group and H.A. Fox Jaguar Guildford.

Alex Wright, managing director, said: “We are extremely grateful for all the donations we have received for our Chestnut Tree House auction thus far.

“Our thanks go to the south coast car dealers that have really got behind the charity auction this year. Hopefully, they’ll all give our bidders extra incentive to snap up a fantastic prize, helping us to reach a record amount for the hospice.

“Every member of the Shoreham team is looking forward to raising as much as possible. The atmosphere on the night is always electric and well-attended – there’s always something on offer for buyers to snap up for a bargain.

“We look forward to seeing a packed auction hall, which will help us raise as much as possible for a fantastic cause.”

The auction begins at 6pm on Monday.
