Steyning Stars shine bright
YOUNG gymnasts from the Steyning Stars club took home medals after a recent contest.
Sussex champion Peter Firth, aged nine, and 13-year-old Beth Hampton both won gold medals at the Sussex floor and vault championships at the Triangle leisure centre, Burgess Hill. Emma Rogers, 11, won silver.
Other Steyning Stars gymnasts who competed at the event were Matilda Wirdnam, Olivia Cleary, Katie Bremner and Isabel van Ellemeet.
