Contributions to a street collection in Steyning went towards a UK based children’s charity.

A total of £179.84 was raised at the collection, which took place on Saturday, August 6.

All the money collected went towards Action for Children.

The organisation aims to make life better for vulnerable children across the UK by providing support to families, schools and carers, and campaign to tackle issues such as child abuse and neglect.

Cathy Evans, who organised the collection, said: “We would like to thank everybody who so generously contributed to our collection last Saturday.”
