Steyning: artwork or eyesore?
THIS work of modern art was created from rubbish dumped on the Downs south of Steyning.
Laybys near Steyning Bowl and land at the side of Bostal Road have been popular with fly-tippers for some weeks now, with building materials, car parts and refrigerators among items which have been dumped. Council staff cleared much of the rubbish last week.
Reports that the set and tyres could be set for London's Tate Modern gallery remain the stuff of speculation.
