Spooky store's fund-raising plan

SCARY superstore staff are hoping to raise £4,000 for charity at a Pink Hallowe'en event.

Staff at Marks & Spencer's Holmbush Centre store, Shoreham, are hosting the fund-raising event as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Saturday.

It will be the fifth year running they have supported charity Breakthrough Breast Canc-er. They hope to top last year's figure of 3,375.

The event will include performances by the Silkroad belly-dancing troupe. The Sarah Fry Dancers, and local theatre groups will also entertain the crowds.

Local saxophone quartet the Saxy Girls will serenade shoppers and Splash FM's John Ro-berts will play favourite tunes from 10am to 1pm.

Stressed-out shoppers will be able to benefit from massages and beauty treatments, while youngsters can enjoy a Hallowe'en hunt, balloon modelling and entertainment provided by a clown.
