The Martlets Hospice teamed up with Wild in Art to stage a public art trail in Brighton and Hove.

Judith Berrill submitted designs for trail ‘Snowdogs’, inspired by the animated film The Snowman and the Snowdog, before going on holiday to France.

On her return, she was delighted to learn that two designs had been chosen by sponsors: iCrossing, a digital marketing company, and The Brighton and Hove Hotels Association.

The magical sculpture trail will feature more than 40 large scale Snowdog sculptures, decorated by artists and sponsored by local businesses.

Judith is now busy painting each of her Snowdogs with the chosen design, which is taking a lot of time and effort.

An active member of the Wick Theatre Company of Southwick, Juith is in charge of publicity, as well as taking a leading part in various plays.

She is burning the midnight oil using her writing talents to launch its next presentation, Dario Fo’s scintillating political satire Accidental Death of an Anarchist.

Her next job is to design the set for the December production of One Man, Two Guvnors.

Accidental Death of an Anarchist takes place at the Barn Theatre, Southwick from September 14 to 17, and is also entered in the Brighton & Hove Arts Council’s Drama Awards for 2016.

Tickets cost £11 from the Box Office on 01273 597094, or are available online at www.wicktheatre.co.uk.
