Each winner received a gold plus family ticket for use during the 2017 open season.

Bryan McDonald, castle manager, said: “We were thrilled to receive such a large number of entries and so many of a high calibre. We’re celebrating the 950th anniversary of the Castle’s initial construction this year with a packed events calendar, so there will be even more opportunities for our visitors to snap away in preparation for next year’s competition!

“We are working on making 2018’s competition bigger and better than ever before. Whilst photography of the Castle’s interior is not permitted, we thoroughly enjoy seeing our visitor’s snaps of the exterior of the Castle as well as action shots of our events and pictures of our gardens in bloom.”

Arundel Castle will reopen to visitors on April 1.
