EAST Worthing and Shoreham Conservatives are combining politics and cricket with a fundraising event on Thursday, March 26, to help raise funds for Tim Loughton’s re-election fighting fund.
Cricket commentator Henry Blofeld will be entertaining the audience with his recollection of cricketing experiences and his long career on and off the sports field.
The evening will also include a tasting of wines and ports and further entertainment both musical and political. There will also be an exclusive auction at the event where the star lot will be a jeroboam of exclusive 1952 Graham’s Tawny Port.
This vintage was produced exclusively to mark the Queen’s diamond jubilee and was served at the special Buckingham Palace lunch held by the Queen for kings, queens and emperors from around the world.
The bottle and accompanying case has been signed by the Prime Minister, home secretary, foreign secretary and leader of the house of commons William Hague.
There is a limited number of tickets still available and anyone interested should contact the constituency office on 01273 757182. Email email@example.com for further details on the event and other auction items.
