On Saturday, Shoreham sea shanty crew The Wellington Wailers performed in Canterbury.
They were there to promote the opening of another branch of shop Sea Salt.
The Wailers became favorites of the Sea Salt company last year at The Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival.
While performing outside of Sea Salt’s home shop in Cornwall, they drew a crowd of onlookers and found themselves featured on national TV, by Songs of Praise.
Since then, Sea Salt have commissioned The Wailers to open two shops.
First was new branch in Lewes in December, and on the success of that their latest, in Canterbury. The shop management said the group’s performance was a success.
