Shoreham pensioner hurt in van collision

A 70-year-old Shoreham woman was injured in a collision with a van in Hove.

The pensioner was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with head and shoulder injuries and was discharged later that day.

She was hurt in a collision with a van in Portland Road, Hove, at 2.10pm on Wednesday. The accident happened at the junction with Leicester Villas, near the railway station.

PC Tony Omotoso, of the Sussex Road Policing Unit, said: “If you saw what happened, please call us on 101 or email [email protected] quoting Operation Oregon.”
