Shoreham man suffers injuries in road collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorbike and a car collided in Upper Shoreham Road, Shoreham.

A purple Triumph motorbike travelling east collided with a red Alfa Romeo travelling west shortly before 5pm on February 17.

The 63-year-old man on the motorbike, from Shoreham, suffered a broken rib and injuries to his chest and knee and was taken to Worthing Hospital for treatment.

The 38-year-old woman in the Alfa Romeo, from Lancing, was not injured.

PC Ben Henwood said: “I need to speak to anyone who saw the crash or the vehicles being driven in the moments beforehand.

“If you saw any part of what happened, please contact us.”
