Second consultation into wind farm plan launched
THERE will be a second consultation into plans for a wind farm off the coast of Worthing.
A 12-week community consultation ended on May 6, but due to the level of interest in the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm proposal, contractor E.ON will launch another eight-week consultation tomorrow (Wednesday, June 13).
It will centre around the same proposals for the wind farm, but will contain more detailed environmental information about the project. A statutory consultation period will also run simultaneously with the public consultation, involving statutory bodies, local authorities, county councils and landowners.
