Rotovator stolen from shed in Shoreham

AN electric rotovator worth £500 has been stolen from a locked shed in Shoreham.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a shed on allotments off Eastern Avenue, Shoreham-by-Sea, was broken into on Sunday and again on Tuesday and a red Mantis rotovator was stolen.

PC David Slade, of the Worthing Neighbourhood Response Team, said: “This was a mean thing to do to someone who needs this piece of equipment to work with.”

Anyone who saw the machine being removed, who may have been offered it for sale or who has any other information is asked to email or phone 101, quoting serial 904 of 4/8.

Alternatively, they can call the independent charity Crimestoppers without having to leave their name on 0800 555 111.
