The store at the Holmbush Centre, on Upper Shoreham Road, invited primary school pupils to get creative by designing a poster demonstrating the benefits of healthy eating.

Eleven year old Tasneem Malique, from the school in Church Lane, Sputhwick, drew the winning design which has been transferred onto limited edition hessian bags that are being given away free of charge to customers.

Tasneem has also won a £500 donation for her school and a £25 gift card for herself.

Store manager Paul Bunyan said: “We received hundreds of outstanding entries with a positive attitude towards healthy eating, but it was Tasneem’s design that really stood out for us. Her design was bold and colourful and looks fantastic on the hessian bags. We were delighted with the response to the competition and were very impressed with all of the designs, it was very difficult to pick a winner.”
