The event celebrated the achievements of members for the past season with the awarding of 28 Royal Yachting Association certificates and trophies.

The awards were presented by Gareth Byrne, a longstanding member who, having learned to sail with the club is now qualified to teach sailing and water sports in a professional capacity.

Gareth explained his route to qualification and talked about his experiences working as an instructor on the Greek islands.
