Police appeal for witnesses of motor home explosion

Police are appealing for witnesses following Tuesday's motor home explosion.

As previously reported, a campervan blew up in an arson attack in Worthing on Tuesday morning.

A statement released by police said: “Shortly before 1am on Tuesday (10 May), local residents were woken by smoke and noise and saw that the beige coloured Talbot Express mobile campervan, which was parked and unattended, had deliberately been set alight, in Bernard Road, Worthing, just off the seafront.

“Any witness or anyone with information is asked to email [email protected] or call 101 quoting serial 43 of 10/05. Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 (www.crimestoppers-org.uk).”
