PICTURES: Two rescued in Shoreham plane crash

Shoreham Airport has provided an update about this morning's plane crash.

A spokesperson said: “We can confirm that there was an incident this morning involving a Piper Cub light aircraft.

“The airport’s fire service team was dispatched immediately and recovered the passengers safely.

“We’re pleased to report that no-one was injured, and the aircraft is being recovered for investigation.”
