PICTURES: Motorbike crash causes major traffic problems

A motorbike crash in Shoreham is responsible for the major traffic delays in the area.

As previously reported, there were reports of a serious accident on the A259 Brighton Road at around 1pm today.

It has since become clear that a motorbike colliding into a silver car is the cause of major delays in the area.

Sussex Police and the ambulance service were at the scene.

The condition of the motorbike rider is unknown, but an eyewitness confirmed it was not a fatal collision.

The South East Coast Ambulance Service have been approached for more information.
